Lizanne Mcbrien, Broker/Office Manager
Licensed Real Estate Broker for 19 years with 2 years Real Estate Sales in Texas. Employed with DNS Real Estate since 2011. Experienced in all facets of sales and marketing of Real Estate, Office Management and maintenance of DNS Real Estate Website.
Dave Haacke, Commercial Salesperson/Owner
Licensed and registered with DNS Real Estate since 2012. Dave has a strong background in sales, having owned his own Plumbing Supply Store. He was also a senior manager for a Canadian Tech Company. He focuses on Commercial sales and Leasing.
Jim Parkes, Broker of Record/Owner
Licensed and registered with DNS Real Estate since 2012. Before joining DNS Jim held the position of General Manager with an international packaging company in the GTA. He focuses on Commercial Sales and Leasing, including Resort Properties, Investment Properties, Vacant Land and Buildings, Multi Residential and Businesses.
David N. Smith, Broker
With almost Fifty years’ experience in Sales, Marketing and Management and the past forty years in Real Estate Development and Sales, Dave was the founder of DNS Real Estate Brokerage in 1987. Dave’s focus is in Commercial Sales and Leasing. In 2019,he was inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame of Peterborough Lakeland Muskoka for being recognized as an individual who has strengthened local economy and community through their business accomplishments. Dave’s incredible work ethic has led him to become one of the most respected and influential Commercial Realtors in Peterborough.
Alex McLeod, Commercial Salesperson
Alex has been licensed and registered with DNS Real Estate since 2014. He recently retired from the position of Real Estate Manager with the City of Peterborough and has over 30 years’ experience in the fields of Economic Development and Real Estate Management. Prior to that Alex spent 11 years in the banking industry. He has served for many years as a Senior Army Reserve Officer and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2006/2007 to help manage the National Reconstruction and Redevelopment Program. His main focus is on Commercial Sales and Leasing and Commercial/Industrial Property Redevelopment.
Al Criegern, Commercial Salesperson
Al is a real estate veteran since 1985 with a reputation for savvy negotiations and cutting edge marketing strategies. These skills joined with uncompromising integrity are the hallmark of Al’s service. He is known for being an honest, hardworking family man who does absolutely everything in his power to ensure his client’s success. Whether guiding clients with their commercial acquisitions and lease negotiations or helping them with their residential purchases and sales, Al’s clients are his number one priority. His primary specialties are commercial sales and leasing and property management. Areas of service include Peterborough, Kingston and London.
Dan Smith, Commercial & Residential Salesperson
Raised In Peterborough, Dan Attended Both Elementary And Secondary School Here. He Joined The Toronto Police Service In 1982 And Then Joined The Peterborough Police Service In 1990. He Gained Experience In All Areas Of The Police Service And Became Inspector Of Operations In 2013. Dan Retired From Policing In 2018 And Still Has A Passion To Serve People In Our Community. His 36 Year Career In Policing Has Taught Him Many Skills; Most Importantly, How To Treat People With Honesty, Dignity And Respect. Dan Is Excited To Be Part Of The Dns Team And The Opportunity To Work Alongside His Father Dave Smith, Serving Clients With Competence And Compassion.
P. K. Smith, Commercial & Residential Salesperson
P. K. holds a BA in Urban Geography and Economics from McGill and an MBA from Concordia. Prior to relocating back to his hometown of Peterborough and joining DNS in 2020 he worked in the financial industry in Toronto and, earlier, the theatre business in Montreal. He will be trading in all types of real estate with a focus on commercial sales and leasing. In his spare time P. K. enjoys golf and sailing, he competes in several regattas each season and is a Sail Canada race official.
Andrew Marshall, Commercial & Residential Salesperson
Andrew has been licensed since 2014. Prior to working in real estate Andrew spent nearly 15 years working in the planning and land development field throughout Ontario and in Melbourne Australia. Andrew possesses in-depth knowledge of all facets of land development and has worked on numerous waterfront development projects, major infrastructure initiatives, and transportation projects related to railways, highways, and international airports. When he’s not at work Andrew volunteers on several boards in the Peterborough area and enjoys spending time with his young family.
